Advantages of reciting the Quran First, the simple fact that the recitation of the Yasin Surah is a recitation of the Qur’an makes all the texts relating to the benefits and advantages of the Qur’an to the recitation of the Surah Yasin applicable.

Surah Yasin has many advantages and benefits

A. The word of Allah Most High: “It is truly through the remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest” (13:28). It is through the recitation of the Qur’an that hearts become immobile and find intimacy with their Creator.

B. The word of Allah Almighty, “He who has revealed to his servant clear and clear verses in order to separate you from the folds of darkness and to illuminate it.” (57: 9) It is through the recitation of Qur’an that one can obtain the success obtained divinely by passing from a state of vigilance to a state of realization and consciousness.

C. The word of Allah Most High, “Do not they reflect on the Qur’an, or are their locks stuck on their hearts?” (47:24). The Quran has the advantage of forcing someone to think about everything around them. or she, thus gaining a greater appreciation of Allah and his creation.

D. Ibn Masud said that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Whoever recites a single letter of the Qur’an has a reward, each reward being ten times the same.” [Tirmidhi]

E. Abu Umama recounted that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Recite the Qur’an because it will come on the day of the resurrection as an intercessor for its companions.” [Muslim]

F. Abu Said al-Khudri relates that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Allah Almighty says:” Whoever is busy reciting the Qur’an to ask me, I bestow on him the best of what was granted to those who asked for it. “[Tirmidhi] The foregoing contains only a small number of innumerable verses and stories about the benefits and rewards of the Qur’an, of which Surah Yasin is a part.

Narrations Regarding the Benefits of Reciting Surah Yasin

A. Anas ibn Malik recounts that the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, “Everything has a heart and the heart of the Koran is Yasin, so whoever recites Yasin, Allah will recite to him the reward of reciting the Quran ten times. “[Tirmidhi]

B. Abu Hurairah relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever recites Yasin at night, he will be forgiven.” [Musnad, Abu Ya`ala] Some versions say: “Whoever recites Yasin morning and night … “[Tabarani, Muhammad al-Saghir]

C. Ibn Yasar recounts that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, “Recite him on your dead.” [Abu Dawud]

D. Some scholars also recounted that reciting Yasin mitigated the difficulties, as Ibn Kathir mentioned in his Tafsir.

There are also statements from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) indicating it. Although many of the stories about the merits of Surah Yasin are particularly weak, some have a basis and can be used to promote virtuous actions.

The overall merits of the Quran alone, which includes Surah Yasin, are enormous and go beyond what we can imagine. We should therefore recite this noble chapter of the Qur’an, knowing very well that we utter the words of Allah, that words are a food for our hearts and souls, a guiding, rewarding way that allows us to enjoy the pleasure from Allah, a means of reflection, of happiness and ease, and other benefits that only Allah knows.
